Stop your children turning the PC off
How many of you have children that keep powering off your pc? Well there is an easy fix for this in Windows 7. In fact there is 2 ways of doing this the example below is the first way of doing it. If you would like another option click this link. If you go to the Control Panel and click on Power Options a window will open like the one below. We are given a few different options but for now we are only interested in the one of them. If you look to the left side of the screen you will see it says choose what the power button does. You need to left click on that one
When you have left clicked on it you will see the window change to look like the screen-print below. You will see I have it set so that when you press the power button the PC dos not react. If you are wandering how I turn the computer off well I simply go to "Start" then "Shutdown"
Below I will show you a screenprint of the other options.
Sleep, Hibernate, Shutdown. They are quite easy to understand so I will not go in to detail. If you decide you ould like asn explanation you can leave me a mesWhen you have left clicked on it you will see the window change to look like the screen-print below.
