convert decimal to binary with some simple software

You can convert decimal to binary with some basic software I created. All you need to do is type in the ip address you want converted and press the convert button.

This software is good for people who are learning about computer networks ie IP addressing. It is good because it converts decimal numbers from 0 - 255 into 8 bit binary. 8 bit binary is the equivelant to an Octet. Not wanting to delve in to that to much, but it takes 4 octets to make a valid ip address. ie 192.168.0.1

This is a very small application that will save you time searcing online every time you want to convert a simple decimal number to binary. Please if you are learning how to convert do not think this is a replacement. If in doubt about converting then learn the hard way at the link below.

You will see in the screenprint below where it says "ip address to decimal" there is 4 boxes just put you ip address that you want converted in to tehose boxes. So lets say you have the ip address of 192.168.0.1 you will put 192 in to the box which says "1st Octet" you will put 168 in to the box which says "2nd Octet" you will put 0 in to the box which says "3rd Octet" and 1 in to the box which says "4t Octet" you then just press te "Convert" button

You will then see your ip address converted in to binary below.
